Floyd Mayweather Jr. & Miguel Cotto Set To Face Off In Puerto Rico
By William Trillo

After Bob Arum announced that Manny Pacquiao would face Antonio Margarito in November, Floyd Mayweather Jr. made a trip to Puerto Rico and on the top of his list was a meeting with Super Welterweight Champ Miguel Cotto. On the surface it’s reported that the two would sit down/face off and discuss combining their 2 promotional companies to put on some of their own promoted events.
One can’t help but assume that the idea of the two fighters meeting somewhere down the road won’t come up in their conversations. Frankly, the idea may be to both the fighters liking now that their supposed dance partner Manny Pacquiao has other plans to finish off his tear.
Don’t get too excited yet though…if conversations go favorably the next step would be to bring Top Rank and Team Mayweather back to the table, and as we know from that point on just about anything could happen.
This is all just speculation right now but the door is wide open now, so who knows?

With Emmanuel Stewart now in Miguel Cotto’s corner, the slick Puerto Rican has a good chance of defeating Floyd Mayweather Jr. I don’t see any knockouts happening in this fight but I think that it’s going to be a close one!
floyd would have his way with Cotto. I like cotto but he gets hit to easy and I believe floyd would pick him apart
No contest, Floyd easy Unam dec.
why is it floyd always reject pacmans challenge…..
I think Floyd is just scared to Manny Pacquiao, so that’s why he made so many excuses!
