There are 10 featured writers with Pound4Pound. There are an additional 13 CONTRIBUTING writers with Pound4Pound. That’s 23 points of views per fight. Of the 23 opinions, only a few picked DLH. That pretty much made up the entirety of the picks against PBF in the last 5 years. If only 1-3 writers go with the underdog in each fight, does that really classify the entire staff as haters?

Guess what, there were more predictions on P4P picking Cotto over Pac than the number of predictions of DLH over PBF. Furthermore, if you compare the predictions before each each of these guys fights with Hatton, DLH, & Marquez, you will find that the writers gave PBF a better shot of victory than they gave Pac. Does that qualify P4P as a “Pac Hatin’” site?

When discussing the negotiations of this fight, ask yourself 1 question: What is in the best interest of boxing? So when discussing the venue (Dallas vs Vegas), what is in the best interest of sport & who stopped that from happening?

When discussing the blood testing (NSAC hearing the arguments & changing it’s policies vs allowing PBF alone to decide for the entire sport), what is in the best interest boxing & who stopped that from happening?

When discussing mediation (NSAC hearing which would allow for the formal change of policy vs a judge in Cali with absolutely no authority in the sport as a whole), what is in the best interest of boxing & who stopped that from happening? Top Rank & Pac clearly were willing to attend a hearing that would allow PBF & GBP the chance to present their arguments & change the minds of the commission. Instead of allowing the NSAC (again, the commission whom PBF chose when they refused a fight in Texas) to function in its capacity as a governing body, Floyd decided he wanted to just apply his own rules for one fight rather than encourage the entire sport to change. He’s not interested in fare-play for the entire sport. If he was, he would have made his case to the commission.

BTW, the commission already ordered both fighters to begin testing. Floyd hasn’t done it yet. That urine test may have been a meaningless effort on the part of NSAC. But if Floyd really wanted the fight, then why did he refuse to take the test? Apply the same ‘if your clean you’ll take it’ standard to Floyd.
